About the Role: NOVA Bar & Grill is a brand-new restaurant preparing to open, and we’re looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager to help lead our team from day one. This is a great opportunity to be part of building something from the ground up and shaping the culture, service, and operations. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing - Train, and supervise front-of-house staff - Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction - Manage staff scheduling with availability for both morning and evening shifts - Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health standards - Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage costs - Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally - Operate and manage the Squirrell POS system - Support promotions, events, and overall business growth Requirements: - 2+ years of restaurant management or leadership experience - Strong leadership and communication skills - Experience with POS systems (Squirrell preferred) - Ability to work flexible hours (morning, evening, weekends, holidays) - Robust organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: - Competitive hourly pay ($23–$26/hour based on experience) - Opportunity to be part of a new restaurant opening - Supportive team environment - Growth opportunities as the business expands Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Weekend availability required - Flexible scheduling Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oks1e
