Electrical Maintenance Coordinator (Port Moody)

Our Company Sultran Ltd., based in Calgary, Alberta, is a private, independently managed company offering fully integrated supply management solutions covering product transport, fleet management, storage, inventory, marine loading, and terminal services. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Ltd. ("PCT"), the company operates a state‑of‑the‑art deep‑sea tidewater terminal on the Burrard Inlet in Port Moody, BC, providing world‑class handling for bulk commodities such as sulphur, potash, ethylene glycol, and canola oil. The Prospect We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Manager of Maintenance and Engineering, and Manager of Maintenance, and working closely with other Area Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for all on‑site maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities / Results - Provide support and backup to the Maintenance Planner for all maintenance planning and scheduling activities involving maintenance crews. - Support the execution of major maintenance and capital projects by coordinating contractors and other requirements as needed. - Ensure all personnel are aware of and compliant with all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining due diligence. Key Actions - Schedu­le maintenance activities with a focus on electrical work in conjunction with the Maintenance Planner. - Participate in special projects with an emphasis on technical solutions to productivity and safety problems. - Monitor the terminal site to ensure operations and maintenance are progressing as planned. - Regularly inspect and monitor the progress of field maintenance activities, updating schedules as required. - Coordinate outside contractors and other service providers. - Support the Manager, Safety to ensure that health, safety, and environmental programs are followed and effective. Education And Credentials - Red Seal Electrician or related Technologist Diploma preferred; an engineering bachelor’s degree is an asset. - Experience with automated controls systems is an asset. - Minimum two years of maintenance experience, preferably within a comparable industry or on‑site experience.
