Bar Tender Experienced (Port Moody)

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring all patrons have an enjoyable experience in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant and food industry experience is required, along with familiarity with POS system The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food safety, and cash handling while working in a vibrant setting. Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences - Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring excellent customer service throughout their visit - Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards - Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy in serving and billing - Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and ensure safety - Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours - Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards - Handle cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and receipts Skills - Proven experience in Bar Tending & Mixology - Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel or similar platforms - Robust customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours - Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately - Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures - Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting - Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experience - Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal requirements regarding alcohol service - Must be eligible to work in Canada This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed.
