Line Cook (Port Moody)

Sweet Talk is our 2 year old Cafe, Community, inclusivity, quality, and serving others are at the heart of our values! We are looking for hard working, passionate, and driven individuals to join our team in Port Moody. We are expanding our Sandwich program and looking for passionate Line Cooks to execute amazing sandwiches. Hiring Line Cooks 10am-5:00pm, weekends included. Part-time position, with potentially more hours available in the future. Requirements: - Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry - Comfortable and capable in a high pace work environment. - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient food service - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Duties: - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment - Monitor food inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the manager - Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques - Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen - Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly We will invest in your training and growth within our team.
