Landscape Labourer (Prince Albert)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, ensuring the health and aesthetics of gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical aptitude, and be eager to learn new skills in landscape maintenance and construction. Responsibilities - Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching - Operate equipment such as excavator,skidsteer, power tools, and hand tools to perform landscaping duties - Install irrigation systems and perform repairs as needed - Conduct gardening activities including planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning - Support construction projects such as building retaining walls, patios, or pathways - Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning - Follow safety protocols during all tasks to maintain a safe work workplace - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Qualifications - Prior experience with landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required - Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and garden care techniques is a plus - Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining power tools and equipment - Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping and construction projects - Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions - Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards - Construction experience or background in related trades is advantageous - Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in outdoor work, landscaping, horticulture, or construction.
