Job Description Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA)-Saskatoon and University of Saskatchewan (U of S), Department of Psychiatry, seek a full‑time team‑oriented Psychiatrist at the rank of Assistant / Associate Professor to be part of our dynamic and expanding Department. The academic rank will be determined based on the candidates’ qualification and experience. The successful candidate will have a focus on Consultative Liaison services. They will provide consultation and ongoing services for patients with a variety of psychiatric and substance use disorders with comorbidities, including involvement in Neuropsychiatry and Severe Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) clinics. The position provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with a energetic team of health professionals that include neurologist, internist, CL nurse, family medicine and psychiatric residents, and medical students, and protected time for clinical, administrative, and academic duties. The Saskatoon Area with the Saskatchewan Health Authority has a Psychiatry Residency training program, which is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents with the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
