LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Power Platform & Copilot Agent Developer for a permanent, full-time 1-year term position with its Ottawa, based customer. Key Tasks Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise Copilot Studio agents including conversational, generative, and action-driven agent experiences Implement and manage agent actions and integrations connecting Copilot agents to enterprise workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows only), APIs, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Azure services, and third‑party platforms Lead agent architecture and grounding strategies including knowledge source design, context management, prompt/system instruction design, and response quality controls Leverage Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry / AI Studio) to support agent solutions including model selection, secure grounding on organizational data, and platform‑level observability and governance patterns Contribute to Power Platform solution delivery including Canvas Apps, Model‑Driven Apps, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Power BI Apply enterprise governance, security, and compliance controls including environment strategy, DLP alignment, access controls, auditing, logging, and operational readiness for AI‑enabled solutions Support ALM and release management practices including solution packaging, environment promotion, CI/CD pipelines, and production readiness standards Provide senior‑level troubleshooting and production support, performing root cause analysis and reducing technical debt Collaborate with and mentor developers and makers; contribute reusable patterns, templates, and documentation to support safe and scalable adoption of Copilot agents Key Qualifications Demonstrated hands‑on experience building and deploying agents using Microsoft Co‑Pilot Studio (mandatory — applications without this experience will not be considered) Proficiency in Python for agent development and integration within Microsoft Co‑Pilot and AI ecosystems Proven experience implementing and managing Co‑Pilot agent governance frameworks within an organizational setting, including agent lifecycle management, compliance, and responsible AI practices Qualifications College diploma or university degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience Several years of hands‑on experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform in an enterprise or highly governed environment Strong experience integrating platform and agent solutions with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Dataverse, Azure services, APIs, SQL, and external systems Experience delivering solutions across multiple environments (Dev / Test / UAT / Prod) using solution‑based deployment and ALM practices English or French essential Experience working with Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry / AI Studio) including models, agent services, grounding, evaluation, and observability SharePoint integration experience, particularly for agent‑based solutions Strong Power Automate (cloud flows) experience Experience with source control and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Experience with integration and extensibility fundamentals including JSON, REST APIs, authentication concepts, and connector/integration strategies Experience enabling and mentoring others through standards, guidance, templates, and knowledge sharing Bilingual (English/French) is an asset Compensation $97,420 – $114,660 Scarce Skills Premium eligible.
