What you'll be doing Reporting to the Software Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and cooperative team. You will gain exposure to the IT industry as a Software Developer, working on the existing enterprise solution known as the Ross Platform Manager – a gateway consolidating all Ross product solutions. Features you’ll work on include licensing, orchestration, role‑based access control, dashboard custom panel rendering in a web browser, and the migration of our existing solution to a modern framework, React. You will participate in Agile teams, design, develop and implement enterprise‑grade solutions, and learn best practices such as recognizing code smells and applying design patterns. This position is primarily remote (work from home) with an occasional on‑site day at our Ottawa Campus in Nepean. Pay ranges from $24‑$35 per hour, based on experience. What you know Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or a related academic program. Experience with web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with front‑end libraries and frameworks like React, Redux, and RxJS. Experience writing unit tests and using testing frameworks like Jest. Experience with npm, vite, and Node.js. Experience with GitLab. Experience or familiarity with AWS, Terraform (or OpenTofu), Kubernetes, and Helm. Experience with the Agile methodology.
