Senior Application Architect (Saskatchewan)

Makwa Resourcing is currently supporting a long-term federal initiative focused on contemporary cloud and enterprise collaboration solutions. We are seeking an experienced Application / Software Architect Level 3 to support enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 and cloud transformation initiatives within a highly secure environment. This opportunity is ideal for a senior architect with strong experience designing enterprise cloud architectures, SaaS solutions, and modern Microsoft technologies in large-scale environments. Duration: 1 year (with potential extensions) Location: Hybrid – National Capital Region (Ottawa) Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required Key Responsibilities Develop cloud technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to support enterprise business requirements Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions for complex business and technical problems Design and document system architecture operational and service views Support enterprise SaaS and cloud-based solutions including Microsoft 365 environments Define integration points between new and existing systemsDevelop technical documentation, standards, diagrams, and implementation plans Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to align with enterprise strategies Collaborate with stakeholders to support solution delivery, governance, and modernization initiatives Technologies & Platforms Experience with several of the following is highly desirable: Microsoft 365 / Office 365 SharePoint Online (SPO) SPFx AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Power Apps Power BI Cloud SaaS environments Enterprise collaboration and modernization tools Required Experience Minimum 10 years of experience as an Application/Software Architect Experience developing technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies for large enterprise environments Strong experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives Experience supporting large, complex IT environments with high user volumes Must have 2/4 certifications below Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2prkvx
