Canadian Corps of Commissionaires (North Saskatchewan) Inc. Location: MELFORT The Supervisor will be responsible for the training and scheduling of the guards. Responsibilities Provide general security to the entire facility, including locking and unlocking doors, patrolling the facility and grounds, monitoring security cameras, enforcing parking regulations, issuing parking passes, tickets, lockers and keys, and processing payments/counting cash. Perform daily and pre-landing inspections of the heliport. Restrain combative patients, perform individual patient watches, assist in locating missing or wandering patients, call codes during emergencies, and admit/discharge bodies from the morgue. Monitors suspicious activities, apprehend and detain suspects, remove and catalogue dangerous weapons, and escort individuals from the property. Write extensive and comprehensive reports using a specific cell‑phone application. Work a 12‑hour shift rotation. Qualifications Prior supervisory experience. Prior experience as a security guard (0–6 months preferred). Must pass a basic physical test. Must be 18 years of age or older. Indigenous candidates and those possessing a Saskatchewan Security Guard training certificate will be given preference; candidates without the certificate will also be considered.
