Instructor – ICT – Continuing Education Contract – COMP 175 – Introduction to Excel 2 Contract Start Date: 07/01/2026 Contract End Date: 12/31/2026 Contract Rate: $60 per hour Posting Status: Open Date Posted: 05/27/2026 Closing Date: 06/03/2026 Job Duties Instruct a D2L course for program-based and unclassified students. The selected individual will supervise students taking the COMP 175 course outline. Duties include: Assisting the students with course content through email or phone contact Scheduling and marking assignments and exams Maintaining existing D2L content Qualifications Required Qualifications: A four‑year degree or a two‑year diploma in Computer Science or a related field with experience in programming and/or database management, or post‑secondary teaching experience. Familiarity with the COMP 175 course content. Preference for those who have taught this course in the past, either in a classroom or online. Desired Skills, Abilities and Experience (QSA) Proficiency with internet, e‑mail, MS Office Suite and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology. Effective communication skills (written and oral). Effective interpersonal skills and problem‑solving skills. Effective instructional ability. Ability to function as a member of a team in an ever‑changing setting. Knowledge of the history, current status, and use of Internet applications and services. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
