Instructor - Early Childhood Administration - Continuing Education Contract (ECE 113 - Human Resources for Early Childhood Administration) Location: Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina Campus Contract start date: 09/08/2026 Contract end date: 06/30/2027 Contract rate: $60 per hour Organization: ECE Distance Classes-48214-DEPT (Faculty Association) Competition Number: ESC07100 Job Responsibilities Verify course content and links, updating resources as necessary. Evaluate and record student progress with the use of assessments, assignments, and observations in accordance with program and institute guidelines. Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using appropriate instructional methodologies in support of a blended learning experience. Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students on the required learning platform (Bright Space). Work cooperatively in an interdependent team setting. Follow policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Required Qualifications Recognized relevant four-year degree (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies, Bachelor’s in Child Development). Two years’ recent and relevant experience working in an Early Learning and Childcare Education setting as an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher/ ECE Instructor. Knowledge of provincial regulations and ministry requirements related to early childhood education. Ability to create and manage budgets. Knowledge of human resources practices. Effective interpersonal skills. Effective communication skills (both oral and written). Effective instructional ability. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e‑mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
