Instructor - ICT - Continuing Education Contract - LIB 191 - Readers' Services Contract: July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026. Hourly rate: $60. Contract hours: 3 hours per enrolled student. Location: Saskatchewan Polytechnic Saskatoon Campus. Responsibilities Engage students in the learning process. Mark assignments, monitor student progress, and provide timely and constructive feedback. Manage and review exam submissions as required and finalize official grades. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from an ALA accredited institution or equivalent; or a Library & Information Technology Diploma with major related experience in the specialty area to be taught. Two years recent/relevant work experience (two years in the last five years) in a library setting in the specialty area to be taught. Strong computer skills are required for online learning facilitation. Desired Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated proficiency and recent experience in using the internet, e‑mail, MS Office Suite software, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology. Effective communication skills (written and oral). Effective interpersonal skills and problem‑solving skills. Effective instructional ability. Ability to function as a team member in an ever‑changing environment. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
