Veterinary Assistant/receptionist Tisdale

Northeast Veterinary Services is looking to add an additional full time receptionist to our team! The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of the team, have excellent communication skills, and be able to excel in a rapid-paced environment. This means you will need to be an effective problem solver, be on your feet for much of the day, and deal with highly sensitive situations in a respectful and courteous manner. Responsibilities · Provide superior client care in person, over the phone, and/or by email. · Communicate effectively with clients and other staff members in person and over the phone · Greet clients, offer assistance, and direct clients to other team members as required · Scheduling appointments, pick-ups and deliveries · Perform clerical duties related to admitting and discharging patients · Handle monetary transactions including insurance claims · Some animal handling · lifting and carrying up to 15-25kg · Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Education and Experience Preference will be given to those who have completed a recognized Veterinary Office Assistant Program or Veterinary Medical Assistant Program We thank all interested candidates, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
