Landscaper / Crew Member – The Sod Squad (Quesnel, BC) We’re looking for a Landscaper to join our growing team at The Sod Squad in Quesnel, BC. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in clean, sharp results, and wants to be part of a crew that actually gets after it. Key Responsibilities: Lawn maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging, blowing) Dethatching, aeration, overseeding, and lawn restorations Topdressing and soil spreading Hedge trimming, pruning, and general plant care Garden bed prep, weed control, and mulch/rock installs Basic irrigation adjustments and troubleshooting (not required, but a bonus) Fence and light hardscape support (when needed) Loading/unloading tools and materials efficiently Keeping job sites clean, organized, and professional Communicating clearly with crew members and clients on site What We’re Looking For: Landscaping experience preferred (but not required if you’re willing to learn) Solid work ethic and reliability, no babysitting needed Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Able to lift 50+ lbs and stay on your feet all day Valid driver’s license is a strong asset Someone who takes pride in doing things properly, not just quickly What You’ll Get: Competitive hourly wage based on experience Opportunity to move into lead or supervisor roles Consistent work through the season A solid crew environment, no drama, just get it done Variety of work (no doing the same thing every day) If you’re someone who likes seeing the before and after and actually cares about the final product, you’ll fit in here.
