Job Description We are looking for a full‑time, permanent Project Manager to join our team. The role will manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of major projects from conception to completion. Projects are locally focused, involve multiple stakeholders, and typically have short durations.
Location: Prince George or Fort St. John, BC (flexible).

Key Responsibilities Manages and implements projects in accordance with project management standards. Determines project scope, defines deliverables, and develops charters aligned with major project requirements. Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships and leads consultation sessions. Prepares reports and presentations, providing analysis results, recommendations, and policy guidance to executives and clients.Provides regular updates to Operations Manager and/or General Manager on project status and progress. Develops and implements consultation and communication plans. Plans and conducts project evaluations and post‑implementation reviews, documenting findings for future reference. Manages the change control process throughout the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables changes.Oversees daily project operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies. Recruit, train, and manage project staff, fostering a positive, productive work environment. Monitors and evaluates project and personnel performance, identifying improvement areas. Expected availability: 30% site meetings and field work, 70% office work.
Qualifications Post‑secondary education in a natural resource field. Extensive experience in forest management aspects such as silviculture, planning, and development. Registered or eligible to register with the Association of BC Forest Professionals (RPF, RFT). Positive attitude, highly organized, and proven ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.Minimum of 5 years experience in the forest industry. Valid BC driver’s license. Knowledge of the BC tenure and appraisal system.
