Rugged Edge Holdings Ltd. is a trusted provider of logistics, labour, and operational support services for the mining and exploration sector. We specialize in remote worksite support, providing high-quality solutions to exploration companies across Western and Northern Canada. We are currently seeking reliable, hard-working General Labourers to join our field operations team. This is a hands-on role that includes camp maintenance, core cutting, and general labour duties in remote camp settings. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in physically demanding environments, are comfortable with extended rotations, and are committed to safety and team success. Key Responsibilities · Perform core cutting and sampling of drill cores using manual and automated tools · Assist with daily maintenance of exploration camps, including shoveling, general repairs, waste management, and supply handling · Assist in the construction and preparation of drill pads, including site clearing, leveling, and material handling · Support camp operations such as fuel handling, water systems, and generator checks · Load/unload cargo and supplies (helicopter and/or vehicle-supported sites) · Follow instructions from field supervisors and site leads · Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of work and living areas · Complete tasks in a safe, productive, and environmentally responsible manner · Participate in daily safety meetings and hazard assessments Qualifications & Requirements · Experience in general labour, camp support, construction, or exploration work is an asset · Prior core cutting experience is preferred but not required – training will be provided · Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working long shifts in rugged conditions · Comfortable working in remote, camp-based environments for extended periods · Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract preferred · Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork · Willingness to follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols Work Conditions · Camp-based work with shift rotations · Shared accommodations and meals provided at camp · Remote work environments subject to variable weather conditions and terrain Why Join Rugged Edge Holdings? · Competitive wages based on a “day rate” · Travel, accommodations, and meals provided while on rotation · Opportunity to gain valuable experience in the mining exploration sector · Supportive team culture and commitment to safety and development How to Apply To apply, please send your resume to .
