Job Summary BCI seeks a Transactions & Total Portfolio Risk Co‑op student/Intern for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 to support risk initiatives in public and private markets. The role sits within the Investment Strategy & Risk department to help develop risk factor attribution, build risk dashboards, and enhance analytical processes. Responsibilities Assist in performing industry and company research (private equity, infrastructure, private credit, etc.) Support responses to requests from other teams and departments. Produce risk assessments for potential new investments. Conduct what‑if analyses for new deals/products/instruments. Help develop and maintain dashboards for asset classes and BCI's total fund. Validate and document data procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency with project specifications. Required Skills Students in graduate programs (Risk Management, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business, etc.) with a B+ equivalent cumulative GPA. Knowledge of various financial instruments. Prior co‑op experience at a bank or investment firm. Ability to gather and process large amounts of data and present findings concisely. Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to deliver value beyond expectations. Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or similar. Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism. Participation in student investment clubs or case competitions. Passion for investment management, ethical standards, and learning.
