Description
DROP Sprockets Inc. is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to join our team in South Slocan, BC. This contract position focuses on induction heating systems and high-power electrical systems. The ideal candidate for this 3-6 month contract will support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization in our manufacturing plant. You’ll work directly with high-power electrical systems and PLC controls, enhancing reliability and efficiency on the plant floor. Your expertise in troubleshooting and process improvement will make a significant impact in our operations. Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot induction heating systems and power supplies • Support high-power electrical systems and inverters • Work with PLCs, HMIs, and PID temperature control loops • Support preventive maintenance improvements and reliability upgrades • Review electrical drawings and assist with equipment retrofits Requirements: • Electrical Engineering degree or technical experience • 3+ years in industrial or manufacturing settings • Robust troubleshooting skills with 480V/600V systems • Experience with induction heating and power electronics • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs Bring your practical skills to the forefront and help elevate our manufacturing capabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pm98o
