Top Prospects Internship Program The Top Prospects internship program is an eight‑month immersive experience for university students in their final year or recent graduates. Interns join training camp on September1,2026, and conclude on April30,2027 (dates subject to change). All positions are onsite at our office adjacent to Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver. Departments & Key Responsibilities Business Intelligence Develop reports, analyze results, provide CRM support, offer data‑driven recommendations. Example projects: ticket inventory tracking, survey planning, fan insight reports. Requires Excel, SQL, and Python. Communications Handle media relations, coordinate interview requests, maintain consistent messaging. Tasks include setting up media areas on game days, monitoring coverage, compiling statistics, distributing media credentials, and supporting production of materials such as game‑day lineups and media guides. Expected to work game nights; strong written communication is essential. Community Engagement & Social Impact Partner with initiatives like the Canucks for Kids Fund, Canucks Autism Network, and Canucks Family Education Centre. Support minor hockey programs, donation‑in‑kind program, and community events. Work on game nights and weekends as needed. Requires Excel; skating is an asset. Content (Production) Assist with video shooting at events, editing for social media, recording media availabilities, and acting as a production assistant. Requires experience with Sony cameras, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere/Final Cut/DaVinci). Submit a PDF portfolio. Expected to work game nights; support other teams such as the Abbotsford Canucks and Vancouver Warriors. Event Services Plan, execute, and manage small events at Rogers Arena; review event reports and follow up on action items. Opportunity to shadow Event Managers on large events. Work event nights and weekends; start August2026. Fan Services Assist with fan initiatives, arena tours, the Canucks Kids Club, and marketing projects. Handle fan inquiries by phone and email. Work event nights and weekends; start August2026. Finance Process invoices, verify expense reports, update balance‑sheet reconciliations, and complete bank reconciliations. Shadow senior Finance staff and collaborate with other departments. Graphic Design Develop internal and fan‑facing creative designs across print, online, social, out‑of‑home, and broadcast media. Collaborate with Creative and Marketing departments. Requires Adobe Creative Cloud and an online portfolio. Information Technology Set up equipment for current employees, monitor hardware inventory, provide first‑level support, and contribute to special projects. Work event nights as needed. Marketing Support marketing campaign development for the Vancouver Canucks, Vancouver Warriors, and Abbotsford Canucks. Track progress on Wrike, execute event emails, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet objectives. Partnership Marketing Assist in partner activation events, set up and tear down digital activations, build partner reports, and coordinate with departments. Work game nights as needed. People & Scheduling (HR) Participate in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and staff scheduling. Maintain uniform distribution and staffing levels for events. Premium Hospitality Support staffing, reservations, sales reporting, inventory, and guest experience. Work event nights and weekends. Premium Sales & Experience Assist with sales forecasting, game‑day reporting, and membership experience projects. Work event nights and weekends. Quick Service Hospitality Operate food and beverage services in Rogers Arena concourses. Assist with HR for Quick Service staff, menu updates, IT programming, and sales reporting. Work events and weekends. Social Media Create content across all social platforms, engage fans, implement trends, analyze performance, and attend events. Requires proficiency on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and Adobe Creative Suite. The Sportsbar Manage restaurant operations, staff training, event planning, revenue strategies, and administrative duties. Create social media content for the Sportsbar. Requires experience on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Capcut. Ticket Centre Operate Ticket Centre daily, support Membership Experience, manage Ticketmaster systems, and maintain high‑standard customer service. Handle fan inquiries via phone, email, and walk‑ups. Work event nights and weekends. Required Experience and Qualifications Current university student in their final year or recent graduate in a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professionalism in presentation, conduct, and reliability. Strong work ethic; willing to go the extra mile. Eager to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities.
