Recreation Therapy Program Coordinator I Role (Kitimat)

Advance your career as a Program Coordinator I with our Recreation Therapy/Adult Day Services. Leverage your skills to develop programs that enhance residents’ quality of life. We are looking for a Program Coordinator I to play a key role in our client-centered approach. You will develop and evaluate recreational activities while supervising Activity Worker II staff. Conduct under the guidance of a Recreation Therapist or qualified designate to ensure effective care planning. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute leisure programs for various settings - Supervise and direct Activity Worker II positions - Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team - Assist in monitoring the health and progress of clients - Evaluate and adapt programs based on clients’ needs Requirements: - Previous experience in recreation or related field - Solid leadership and supervisory skills - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00 - Dedicated to a client-centered care model Be part of a team that focuses on improving clients’ well-being through tailored recreational programming.
