Job Overview Academic Faculty Non‑Bargaining Postdoctoral Fellow (Clinical Research) – Implementation & Knowledge Translation for Exercise Oncology Programs (Kristin Campbell). Department: Campbell Laboratory, Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver Campus. Position is full‑time (1.0FTE) with a 2‑year funded term (1 September 2026 – 31 August 2028, possible extension). Salary: $60,000 per annum, competitive and equitable. Responsibilities Coordinate research activities and manage project timelines. Lead the co‑design of clinician‑facing and patient‑facing intervention materials. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams at UBC, BC Cancer, and other institutions, presenting project updates and findings regularly. Lead implementation and evaluation of program referral and delivery across British Columbia, and collaborate on national and international dissemination. Collect, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data. Contribute to literature reviews and research syntheses as needed. Prepare conference abstracts and manuscripts stemming from this work and other projects. Supervise research assistants and trainees involved in data collection, analysis, writing, and related projects. Contribute to additional projects led by the Principal Investigator and Co‑Principal Investigators. Provide support with future research proposals and/or recent funding opportunities. Maintain accountability for the quality and integrity of the research and data, and the effective management of research projects and deliverables. Qualifications PhD in a relevant field (exercise science/physiology, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, psychology, implementation science, etc.) with a strong foundation in exercise oncology, behaviour change, co‑design, and/or knowledge mobilization. Ability to manage all aspects of a project, from experimental design to data interpretation and manuscript assembly. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in team settings. Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including those in conflict with one’s own. Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Terms of Appointment Full‑time (1.0FTE) Postdoctoral Fellow appointment, 2‑year funded term (1 September 2026 – 31 August 2028) with the possibility of extension based on performance and additional funding.
