Build reliable and creative solutions to meet clients’ unique needs and fulfill CSE’s mandate. Qualifications Entry‑level, intermediate, or experienced software developers. Passion for continuous learning and expanding current knowledge. Education A professional certification, college diploma or university degree in a field related to the position, such as Software Engineering Technician, Computer System Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (e.g. Computer, Software, Electrical), Mathematics. A secondary school diploma and relevant experience in a related field. Education must be recognized in Canada and proof of credentials must be provided. Students graduating within the next twelve months are eligible to apply. Experience Programming experience in one or more of the following: Designing, Developing, Testing, Deploying, Maintaining, or Improving. Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C, C++, Python, or modern web languages and frameworks. School projects can be considered as relevant experience for recent graduates. Location The majority of our jobs are in Ottawa, Ontario. CSE has two accessible facilities. Flexible work arrangements, including telework for a portion of the work week, may be possible. Conditions of employment A valid Enhanced Top Secret security clearance is a condition of employment that must be met before an offer can be made.
