SAP Data Lead/Manager (Quebec) (Québec City)

Key Responsibilities Lead data migration and conversion projects for SAP implementations, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop comprehensive migration strategies. Analyze, cleanse, and validate legacy data to ensure accuracy and completeness before migration. Design and execute data mapping and transformation processes that align with SAP data structures. Monitor and report on migration progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary. Work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during the migration process. Develop and maintain documentation related to migration processes, including mapping documents, data quality reports, and project plans. Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on migration best practices and tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, finance, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum of 7+ years of experience in SAP data migration and conversion; current role must be Lead, Manager, or equivalent. Strong understanding of financial data processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency with SAP data migration tools and ETL methodologies (e.g., LSMW, BODS, LTMC, SAP Data Services). Experience with Syniti (or equivalent) tools. Demonstrated experience in data governance, shared services structures, and establishing data stewardship processes. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross‑functional teams. Travel requirement: 0–50%.
