Responsibilities Prepare accurate purchase requests according to department needs (items, quantities and specifications). Maintain rigorous records of purchases and contracts to facilitate tracking and audits. Support price negotiations and contractual terms with suppliers. Monitor delivery of goods to ensure on-time receipt and resolve delays. Collaborate with the warehouse/store to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or surpluses. Track tools sent for calibration according to established procedures. Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, budget compliance and supplier performance.
