Line cook (Trenton)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards - Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients - Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented attractively - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts - Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours - Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations - Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and sanitation Skills - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service in a restaurant or food industry setting - Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food safety standards - Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment - Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques - Knowledge of meal preparation and food presentation best practices - Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Prior experience with serving or customer interaction is a plus - Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation procedures Join our team if you are passionate about culinary arts, committed to quality service, and eager to grow your career in the food industry.
