General Labourer Brighton

The Prospect: We are currently seeking full time General Labourer's to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning the shop, helping prepare materials for orders, using a variety of equipment and tools, and providing assistance as needed to all areas of the shop. Duties Include: General housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shop, work vehicles, etc. Read and interpret materials and equipment required for project from order forms. Prepare materials required for project, includes lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling materials weighting up to 50 lb. Assist with the movement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. Operate forklift and unload raw materials from deliveries (if forklift licensed). Use necessary hand and power tools as needed. What We're Looking For: Previous Labourer experience an asset. Forklift certification an asset. Valid Ontario ‘G’ driver’s license an asset. Must maintain a good driving record and lawfully operate all company vehicles. Punctual, dedicated, hardworking and very detail-oriented. Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime depending on season, workload, etc. Competency with building tools and materials. Ability to work co-operatively in a team atmosphere. Physically capable of working in a shop and outdoor yard environment, including all weather conditions. Please note: Reliable transportation is essential as Brighton Truss is not on a bus route.
