Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques Repair or replace faulty components Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial or automotive equipment Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers is preferred Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits Dental care Flexible schedule On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p2t97
