Jobsite Standards, Organization & Safety - Arrive on-site prepared with proper PPE, tools, and a positive, professional attitude. - Participate in morning briefings or “tailgate talks” covering the day’s tasks, safety hazards, and production goals. - Maintain neat and safe worksites: remove debris, organize tools, and secure materials to prevent trip hazards and damage. - Protect existing structures, lawns, and client property using plywood, tarps, and shields as required. - Support end-of-day cleanup by stacking materials, removing waste, and organizing site access for the next workday. - Follow company and regulatory safety protocols for excavation, lifting, power tool operation, and vehicular movement. - Report any accidents, near misses, or damaged property immediately to the Operations Manager. 4. Equipment, Tools & Material Handling - Perform pre-use inspection and maintenance of all hand tools and power equipment—checking fluids, blades, and safety guards. - Load, secure, and transport materials, tools, and machinery safely on company vehicles or trailers. - Monitor material quantities on-site and communicate shortages, quality issues, or delivery concerns to the Operations Manager. - Assist with unloading deliveries, verifying quantities, and staging materials by type and sequence of use. - Clean and maintain equipment daily to ensure longevity and readiness for the next job. - Store tools and equipment neatly at the yard or designated storage areas after each shift. 5. Communication & Team Collaboration - Take direction effectively from the Operations Manager or crew leader and execute tasks with precision and efficiency. - Collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated efforts during construction, planting, and site cleanup. - Clearly communicate challenges such as grade discrepancies, design modifications, or unforeseen site issues as they arise. - Exhibit professionalism in all client and neighbor interactions—representing the company’s values and service quality at all times. - Offer constructive feedback and observations that support continuous improvement in field operations. 6. Quality Assurance & Craftsmanship - Strive for a meticulous standard of finish work—ensuring clean cuts, straight lines, uniform spacing, and level surfaces. - Verify measurements and levels regularly with a laser level, string line, or hand level to maintain precision. - Check all installations against plan details and specifications before moving to the next phase of work. - Identify potential quality concerns early and collaborate with the Operations Manager to correct them immediately. - Take pride in workmanship and uphold the company’s reputation for premium residential design-build projects. 7.
