What are we hiring for? Our Landscape Division in Red Deer is currently hiring seasonal Landscape Laborers to join our team for the 2026 season. The season runs approximately from May until the end of October. What does a Landscape Laborer do? · Planting, transplanting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, trees and perennials. · Installing rock gardens, ponds, pergolas, flower beds, aggregates, interlocking paver and retaining walls · Seeding, sodding and caring for lawns · Trimming and pruning hedges, trees and shrubs · Identifying plant diseases and insect problems · Applying fertilizers · Operate small to medium size equipment. · Work with and maintain a professional attitude with customers and clients. · And much more! What should a potential candidate possess? Must possess a positive attitude, strong will to learn, love for the outdoors, attention to detail and especially… a love of plants! What other qualifications & attributes should a candidate have? · Canadian citizen or permanent resident · Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license or higher. (Relatively clean driver abstract. Persons with DUI will not be considered) · First aid would be an asset. · Skid Steer & Mini Hoe experience would be an asset. · Must be able to perform manual labor duties, consistently lifting 50lbs throughout the day. · Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (cold, hot, windy, wet, rainy and snowy conditions). · Experience driving a truck with trailer would be an asset. · Weekend and holiday availability. · Listen to instructions and be safety oriented. · Plant Material Knowledge would be an asset. · Landscaping experience would be and asset.
