Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities · Receive product, including unloading of the truck · Accurately pick /assemble customer orders · Ship goods to customers · Inventory - check for proper labelling, stock shelves in a neat and orderly fashion, confirm products · Serve customers when they pick up orders Education and Experience · Grade 12 education · Able to use a variety of computer programs · Strong customer service skills · Forklift and computerized inventory system experience are assets Key Competencies Detail oriented – accuracy is extremely important in this role Efficiency – must work efficiently to keep up in this fast-paced workplace Organized – time management skills are very important in this busy workplace with changing priorities and multiple tasks Communication – able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization, as well as customers Problem solving skills – you must be able to identify mistakes and bring issues to your supervisor Able to handle paperwork effectively Physically challenging position; must be able to lift 30lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs.
