Maintenance Worker (Part-Time) Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Blackfalds Job Type: Part-time Location: Blackfalds, AB Job Summary: Microtel Blackfalds is looking for a dependable and hardworking Part time Maintenance Worker to assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the hotel property. This role includes minor room repairs, general property maintenance, and outdoor upkeep to help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities: Perform minor room repairs and maintenance tasks Assist with general hotel upkeep and preventative maintenance Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the parking lot and outdoor areas Handle basic plumbing, painting, drywall, and light repair work as needed Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Work with hotel staff to address maintenance concerns Ensure tools and maintenance areas are organized and safe Qualifications: General maintenance or handyman experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and repairs is an asset Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Physically able to lift, carry, and perform maintenance duties Must be legally authorized to work in Canada What We Offer: Flexible part-time hours Friendly team environment Stable and supportive workplace Prospect for additional hours when needed Schedule: Part-time Weekday and weekend availability may be required Flexible hours based on hotel needs Apply: Please submit your resume through Indeed or apply in person at the hotel.
