Awake Overnight Child Care Associate, Central Foothills (Sundre)

Join our team as an Awake Overnight Child Care Associate focused on supporting youth with complex needs. This part-time role emphasizes creating a nurturing and safe environment for growth.

Working from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am, you will participate in a collaborative team effort to support children and youth in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will involve fostering positive relationships, ensuring nutritious meals, and facilitating daily activities. You will also empower youths to participate in community and recreational events, equipping them with essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for youth • Encourage development of healthy relationships • Provide nutritious meals and promote structure • Assist participation in social and community activities • Address individual basic personal needs

Requirements:• Diploma/Degree in Human Services or related field • At least 2 years’ experience with children and youth • Valid Emergency First Aid/CPR certificate • Vulnerable Sector Check with Driver's Abstract • Class 5 driver's license and vehicle for transportation
