Apprentice CarpenterJob Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Carpenter to join our construction team. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in carpentry through hands-on experience across a wide range of residential projects. You’ll work directly alongside experienced carpenters, learning proper techniques, jobsite safety, and quality workmanship while developing skills in both structural and finish carpentry. Duties & Responsibilities - Assist carpenters with framing, finishing, and general carpentry tasks - Work on residential projects including: - Finish carpentry - Home additions and garages - Deck construction - Kitchen and bathroom renovations - Flooring installation - Window and exterior door installation - Siding and roofing - Minor drywall repair - Framing - Perform demolition, site prep, and material handling - Operate hand tools and power tools safely - Assist with trim, cabinetry, and finishing work - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite - Follow all safety protocols and company standards Experience & Qualifications - Robust interest in pursuing a career in carpentry - Willingness to learn and take direction - Ability to perform physical work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) - Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions - tool knowledge - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented - Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle Apprenticeship & Growth - Hands-on training under experienced carpenters - Exposure to multiple aspects of residential construction - Long-term growth for reliable, motivated individuals What We’re Looking For - Strong work ethic - Attention to detail - Pride in craftsmanship - Respect for clients’ homes - Willingness to grow and improve daily Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Apprenticeship Pay: $18.50-$30.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance Experience: - Carpentry: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - apprenticeship (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ol2je
