Warehouse Associate - Full Time (Red Deer)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is vital to the effective operation of our warehouse, supporting distribution, shipping, and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Duties - Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including order picking and loading/unloading shipments - Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery safely and efficiently - Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure accurate and timely movement of goods - Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and process orders - Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, adhering to safety protocols - Support construction-related tasks as needed, including handling heavy lifting and material movement - Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency - Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth workflow Skills - Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields - Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks - Skilled in order picking, load & unload procedures, and warehouse management systems - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods - Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and best practices - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management - Construction or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards This position requires candidates to be physically capable of handling heavy loads and operating machinery responsibly. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific equipment operation.
