Production Worker/Packaging (Lacombe)

Production Worker/Packaging Beretta Farms Ltd.- Lacombe, AB Beretta Farms Ltd. is hiring a reliable and self-motivated employee to work in our beef processing facility located in Lacombe, AB. Monday – Friday Dayshift 6:00am start – overtime as required Duties include: - Inspect product for quality, vacuum seal the item. - Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the products label. - Ensure packaging is sealed without tears, damage, or visual contamination. - Ensure the quality of the product is up to standard and dates are correct before processing. - Package products to customer specifications. - Additional duties as assigned by the Fabrication Manager. Qualifications: - Willingness to work with raw meat products. - Willingness to work in a cold environment. - Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively. - Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor. - Previous work experience is an asset but not required. - Training will be provided. - Commitment to safety standards and practices Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: - Lacombe, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - wholesale meat packaging: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otfjj
