Clean Harbors Red Deer AB is looking for an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic to join their safety conscious team! RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a protected manner. - Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments. - Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs. - Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. - Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs. - Complete repair orders. - Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles. - Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor. - Complete warranty information. - Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts. - Carry out housekeeping duties. - Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS - Registered as a Heavy Duty Apprentice. - Previous experience working as a (Heavy Duty) Mechanic is an asset. - Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset. - Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset. - Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software - Class 5 Driver's License required. 40-years of sustainability in action.
