Basic Employee Responsibilities Every Q2 ALS employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies&procedures.

Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.

Being responsible– on time for work and taking breaks during designated times.

Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.

Position Specific Responsibilities

Inspection of parts to be painted

Operate paint booth, load and unload

Move material to and from painting area

Clean, drift, protect threads on all barrels prior to painting

Operate cut off saw

Follow instructions and safe working procedures

Process work orders

Regular machine and work area cleaning

Regular preventive maintenance

Other similar duties as requested by supervisor

Required Specific Responsibilities

Mechanical aptitude.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing.

Ability to measure pieces using measuring equipment to verify that the size meets the specifications.

Ability to work independently.

When required, be part of a team, fellow operators and management to co‑ordinate efforts to ensure that machines are used efficiently, and work priorities are well managed.

Ability to learn new specifications and procedures through on‑the‑job training and experience.

Physical Demands

Periodic heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Standing for 8 hours

Machine shop environment
