Truck Driver - Class 1 (Clive)

Hi-Brow Ltd is looking for Class 1 Drivers to become a long term member of our distribution team! - Drive our fleet of dry van trailers of various lengths. - Must be fit, ready, and able to lift 25 Kg. - Deliver across Western Canada. Hours: - There is a mix of local driving and some trips that require an over night stay. - Weekdays with weekends off, overtime possible. - 3-4 day trips with 1 - 2 nights on the road. Hi-Brow Ltd is a wholesaler/manufacturer of various products for farm, feed, and pet stores across western Canada. From horse feed to dog food, we pride ourselves in our product selection, quality, and price. In addition, we supply clean orders and prompt deliveries, customer satisfaction is our number one goal. Currently, we deliver with our fleet of trucks, all across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and northern BC. Our drivers deliver palletized feed in addition to various items and boxes. Summary: The driver will be responsible for safe trucking. This includes protected driving behavior on the road and safe load management. Also, proper loading and unloading of customer orders. Manually unloading skids may be involved for some orders. Deliveries are made to a variety of locations (warehouses, retail store, and on farm.) Customer service is a key part of this role, you will be face to face with customers and representing our company. This position will report directly to the warehouse manager and logistics manager. Benefits: - Paid orientation - On- site parking - Pay will be dependent on experience. - Home most nights - Subsistence for over night stays Duties & Responsibilities: - Pre and Post trips check of tractor and trailer. - Safe and proper transport of customer orders to the specified location. - Following directions. - Loading and unloading pallets (customer order and Hi-Brow purchases). There is an electric pallet jack assigned to each driver. - Respectful and exceptional customer service. - Regular communication with office and warehouse Manager. Requirements: - Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract - Ability to operate e-logs. - Proficient use of google/bing/apple maps. - Positive attitude and customer service oriented. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to lift up to 25 Kg and bending. - Ability to follow directions.
