Job Title: Inventory Control / Shipper-Receiver / Customer Quality Control (Dispatch Trainee) Company Overview: We are a growing service company specializing in heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment repair. We focus on delivering reliable service and maintaining solid customer relationships. Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to handle inventory control, shipping/receiving, customer quality control, and database management. This role includes following up with customers, ensuring accurate records, and will lead into a dispatch position over time. Key Responsibilities: - Manage inventory, including tracking, ordering, and organizing parts and equipment - Handle shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing materials - Perform quality control checks on completed service jobs - Follow up with customers to confirm work was completed properly and they are satisfied - Address customer concerns and communicate with the team to resolve issues - Ensure service technicians’ paperwork is accurate and complete - Update and maintain customer database with correct information for both new and existing clients - Keep detailed and organized records of service history, contacts, and job notes - Assist with scheduling and coordination of service calls (training provided) - Transition into dispatch duties over time Qualifications: - Strong communication and customer service skills - High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry - Organized and able to manage multiple tasks - Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, job tracking systems) - Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or service coordination is an asset What We Offer: - Competitive pay (based on experience) - Training and advancement into dispatch - Stable, long-term employment - Supportive team environment Pay: $17.34-$20.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Company events - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pjke4
