Job Summary We are seeking passionate and dedicated Elementary Teachers to join our educational team. Candidates should possess solid communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. Bilingual skills, especially in English and French, are highly valued to support diverse student populations. This role involves developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive educational experience. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Foster a supportive classroom workplace that encourages student participation and growth Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback Support students with special education needs or disabilities through tailored instructional strategies Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administration regarding student progress and classroom activities Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques Engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions related to early childhood education and teaching methodologies Maintain organized records of lesson plans, assessments, and student attendance Strong team player contributing to the success of our school is critical Experience Prior classroom teaching experience in elementary education is preferred Experience working with children across diverse backgrounds and abilities is highly desirable Proficiency in written and spoken English Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial Demonstrated strong organizational skills, time management, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role Pay: $41,800.00 per year Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pm9ql
