B Pressure Welder (Innisfail)

NWP is currently recruiting for a full time permanent B Pressure Welder to join our vessel team. This position works 10 hour days, Monday to Thursday with opportunities for overtime. Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure all work instructions are carried out as per Manager or Lead Hand’s directives. - Perform pressure welding duties safely, accurately and in a timely manner. - Ensure all tolerances and specifications are met in welding fabrication. - Demonstrate competency in GMAW, SMAW and MCAW - Maintain assigned production goals and objectives. - Ensure a neat and tidy work area. - Ensure all company quality standards are adhered to. Skills and Abilities - Sound foundation in the understanding of ASME Section VIII and B31.3 - Ability to read and interpret related shop drawings - Ability to interpret welding procedures - Ability to provide exceptionally high quality of Welding, taking pride in your work - Accountability - Dedicated team player - Conscientious - Ability to pay attention to detail.
