Focus Systems is looking for a Senior Web Application Development and Support Analyst (Front End/UI) to support a major provincial electric utility on a high-impact suite of custom applications supporting critical nuclear business operations. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape modern, scalable web experiences while collaborating with a strong back-end development team already in place. - Location: Onsite strongly preferred in Saskatchewan - Work Arrangement: Offsite within Canada considered for highly aligned candidates - Contract Duration: June 29, 2026 – October 31, 2027 - Schedule: Full-time contract with potential extension opportunities What you’ll bring: - 5+ years of Front End development experience - Solid proficiency with React, HTML, CSS, and CSS abstraction layers such as Tailwind or Sass - Experience working across React ecosystems including Tanstack, Vite, Next.js, or similar frameworks - Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards - Experience building design systems and reusable component libraries - Knowledge of client-side state management and data flow patterns - Strong TypeScript and JavaScript development skills - Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library - Proficiency with Git source control - Experience consuming CI/CD pipelines - Experience developing SPA applications integrating with multiple backend architectures and APIs - Ability to implement user-friendly failover and observability patterns - Experience optimizing SPA performance Bonus points if you also have: - Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline - Familiarity with contemporary .NET frameworks - Experience writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of hosting environments including serverless, containers, and IaaS/PaaS platforms Apply by Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST.
