Intermediate Architectural Technologist (Regina)

Overview We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural projects, collaborating closely with architects and engineers to bring innovative designs to life. Responsibilities - Reviewing and communicating current project status to the Project Leads or Job Captain at regular intervals - Working with the team to ensure project success measured by client satisfaction, work quality, profitability, and fostering team professionalism and collaboration - Leading team members and actively participate in the preparation of drawing packages for various permit submissions and/or construction - Coordinating consultant teams - Liaising with clients and Authorities when requested - Preparing project code analysis - Reviewing drawings for Building Science accuracy, consultant coordination and compliance with local Building Codes and City Bylaw requirements prior to submissions - Participating in product research including building components and systems Skills - Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology or related program, equivalent qualification. - Knowledge of building and zoning codes. - 5-10 years related experience as an Architectural Technologist - Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Twinmotion, Abode) is an asset. - Understands conceptual design and works to ensure design intent is delivered. - Intellectually curious and a willingness to learn and take accountability for your role participates in continuing education opportunities and attends lunch and learn - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines - A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills. - A willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
