Practice food safety at all times regarding food preparation and cleaning procedures. Prepare Ministry of Education approved healthy meals&snacks for Childcare Centers according to YMCA menus. Clean childcare kitchen, dishes and food storage areas according to Public Health Standards. Handle and organize food delivery; may include lifting up to 40lbs. Maintain accurate food order sheets and inventory lists. Communicate ongoing Food Services needs to the Food Service Director and immediate center directors.Complete and comply with all YMCA Policies and Procedures (YMCA Child Protection&Clean Culture). Interact with children as required. Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Food Services. Job Requirements

ECE Level I an asset 1-2 years Food Service or related experience. Canadian Food Safe Level 1 (preferred). Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Search prior to first day of work and dated no more than 3 months before hire date. Class 5 Drivers license and own vehicle to transfer between locations.
