Now Hiring a Customer Service and Branch Representative - Regina, SK - Excellent Salary (Commensurate with Experience) - Full Benefits Package - Growth and Development Opportunities Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Customer Service and Branch Representative serves as both a trusted ambassador of the company and a key operational support to the branch, acting as a first point of contact for customers in person, by phone, and increasingly through online channels. As part of the Order Desk Team, this role works collaboratively with teammates to deliver exceptional customer solutions by asking thoughtful questions, leading with curiosity, and drawing on product knowledge, internal expertise, vendor partnerships, and research tools. Beyond core customer service responsibilities, this role plays an elevated part in branch operations by supporting order processing and fulfillment, coordinating customer delivery requirements with the Logistics Team, troubleshooting technical concerns, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day flow of the branch. As a secondary branch lead, the role also provides support in operational coordination, acts as a resource to peers, and participates in cross-training and development opportunities designed to prepare for future leadership growth within Innovair Group. As the Customer Service and Branch Representative you will: - Deliver on the values of Customer Service Excellence and Technical Knowledge while providing information regarding products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing value in all interactions for customers. - Support branch operations through shipping and receiving activities, including accurate inventory handling, material movement, and timely put-away to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. - Serve as a secondary branch lead, supporting branch operations, mentoring team members, and participating in cross-training and development activities aligned with succession planning and future leadership progression. - Provide operational support through administrative branch functions such as cash reconciliation, balancing, and preparation of bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls. - Work alongside Technical Representatives, Product Group, Accounts Receivable, and Location 1 Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure cohesive approach and provide great customer service. - Goes above and beyond when working with our customer base; strives to achieve the best possible customer experience with every transaction. - Respond quickly and professionally to customers’ questions and requests by phone, e-mail, fax or in person to help provide the best product or service for their needs. - Coordinate and update automated delivery communication tools, ensuring customers receive timely advance notification of upcoming deliveries and supporting a seamless service experience. - Ensure branch is appropriately stocked and cleaned, updating bin locations and displays are maintained and advises management of any discrepancies. - Conduct inventory checks, deviation, and maintains the branch inventory, receiving warehouse stock as it enters the branch. - Order gases and maintains relevant levels of gases for branch stock, communicating when stock levels are low and completing necessary paperwork for shipping tanks. - Act as the back up and emergency driver to ensure customer deliveries are always completed on a timely basis. - Ensure all tasks are followed and completed in accordance with the Company’s operating philosophies, safety policies and regulatory standards; encourages and educates others to work safely and follow safety policies and safe work procedures. - Keep up to date on best practices and product knowledge ensuring you’re well versed in new products and completing vendor training as needed. - Share ideas and participates actively in projects and other duties as assigned by management. - Perform other duties and project work as required. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: - Have a minimum of 3+ years of customer service experience (preferably in our industry or another relevant area). - Highly organized with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. Previous training in Lean methodology an asset. - Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. - Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues and find creative solutions. - Experience in upscaling operations and managing growth is considered a significant asset. - Have a passion for the welding industry and customer service, and a willingness to share your knowledge and experience with others. - A dedicated team player and collaborator; always ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into tasks beyond the .
