Bike Shop Service Advisor (Part Time) (Wolseley)

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Part-Time Bike Shop Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with bike repairs, maintenance, and sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cycling, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service skills. Duties - Greet customers warmly and assess their cycling needs or repair requests - Schedule service appointments and communicate repair timelines effectively - Assist customers in selecting appropriate bikes, accessories, and parts - Perform basic bike repairs and maintenance or coordinate with mechanics for complex repairs - Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop area - Provide expert advice on bike features, maintenance tips, and safety procedures - Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and positive reviews Experience - Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required - Mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge related to bicycles is highly desirable - Strong background in customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients - Sales experience, is a plus - Familiarity with automotive repair or similar technical fields is advantageous - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly This role is perfect for individuals passionate about cycling who enjoy working with people and sharing their expertise.
