Experienced Equipment Operator (Estevan)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in heavy equipment operation, including dozer, excavator, loader, backhoe, grader. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. The Equipment Operator will play a vital role in executing construction projects with precision and safety, contributing to the successful completion of various infrastructure and development projects. Responsibilities - Operate a variety of heavy construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance - Follow project specifications and safety protocols during operations - Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and pipe or crusher work - Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines - Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance logs - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during daily operations Qualifications - Proven experience operating heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, crushers - Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting - Valid commercial driver’s license required - Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures - Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment This position offers an opportunity for skilled equipment operators to contribute their expertise to challenging construction projects while working in a dynamic team setting.
