Our valued client is seeking a Senior Markit EDM Developer / Technical Lead to migrate and modernize the enterprise data platform using Azure Cloud Initial 1.5 year contract, with solid possibility of extension. % remote. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday in EST Timezone. As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in the migration of the Markit EDM platform to Azure Cloud, while simultaneously helping modernize and optimize an workplace with significant technical debt. This role will require both hands-on development and technical leadership, providing a fresh perspective on system design, performance, and integration patterns. You will work closely with architecture, integration, and business teams to retool existing integrations, improve system performance, and implement best practices based on internal findings and vendor recommendations (S&P;). Responsibilities Lead and execute migration of Markit EDM to Azure Cloud Analyze platform performance and reduce technical debt Provide technical recommendations for modernization Redesign data integrations across systems for scalability Collaborate with architecture and integration teams Transform and manage large datasets using SQL and scripting Implement improvements based on vendor and internal recommendations Contribute to Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery Must Haves 10+ years of experience with the IHS Markit EDM platform Hands-on SQL and database development, including performance tuning Proven experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments Experience supporting large-scale system migrations or modernization initiatives Ability to assess complex architectures and deliver implementable solutions Nice to Have Experience with Azure Cloud migration or data platform optimization Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Azure Monitor Application Insights) Proficiency in Python for integration or data processing automation IHS Markit EDM certifications Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pgp8z
