We are seeking dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated individuals to join our team. Previous maintenance experience with CNC equipment, forklifts, or diesel trucks in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and fully operational work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, changing HVAC filters, and conducting preventative maintenance. Repair broken or leaking plumbing fixtures to prevent water damage and restore functionality. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including damaged wiring, shorts, and severed lines.Perform painting and minor carpentry repairs as needed. Conduct inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Submit parts and supply requests when materials are needed for repairs.Weatherize facilities by repairing weather stripping and replacing insulation when necessary. Complete and update work orders accurately, including documenting services performed and closing requests upon completion. Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner. Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).Assist with facility improvement projects and other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler, septic, sewage, and general building maintenance systems. Ability to safely operate common maintenance tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined or hard-to-reach areas.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Electrical license preferred. Previous maintenance technician or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
